George Postelnicu
Nato a Bucarest il 03/05/1964, studia la danza classica (metodo Vaganova) al Liceo Coreografico di Bucarest sotto la guida dei maestri Stefan Banica, Costantin Marinescu e Gheorghe Iancu. Dopo il conseguimento del diploma venne assunto dal Teatro dell’Opera di Bucarest dove a diciannove anni debutto’ come primo ballerino nel ruolo “Franz” del balletto “Coppelia”. Nel corso degli anni ricopri’ i primi ruoli del repertorio classico: “Paquita”, “La bella addormentata nel bosco” (Il principe Desire’ & L’uccello blu), “Lo Schiaccianoci”, “Cenerentola”(Il principe), “Don Quixote”(Basilio& Espado), “Il corsaro”, “Esmeralda” (Atteone), “La Bayadera”(Solor), “La Fille Mal Garde’e” (Colen), “Carmen Suite”(Torero), “Il Lago dei Cigni” (Il giullare & Pas de trois) “Romeo e Giulietta” (Mercuzio) e altri ruoli principali nei balletti contemporanei come: “Sacre du Printemps”, “Carnevale a Venezia”, “L’apres midi d’un faune” ecc. Finalista al Concorso Internazione di Osaka 1987,vinse al Concorso Internazionale Varna 1990 il premio speciale “Alla miglior coppia” insieme alla sua compagna Alma Munteanu. Arricchi’ la sua esperienza artistica ballando come primo ballerino in Unione Sovietica, Ungheria, Germania, Belgio, Olanda, Lussemburgo, Austria, Svizzera, Israele, Iugoslavia, Giappone, Corea del Sud, Taiwan, Hong Kong,Tailandia, Vietnam, Spagna ecc. Segui’ lezioni presso il Teatro Bolschoi (classe Yagudin). Per i meriti artistici eccezionali,nel 2004, il Presidente della Romania gli conferi’ “L’ordine del Merito Culturale” in grado di Cavaliere. Dal 1996 comincio’ a creare delle coreografie come: “Le quattro stagioni”, “Carmen Suite”, “Mozartiana”, “Notte di Walpurga”, “Dafne e Cloe” ecc.
Ai giorni di oggi insegna danza classica e collabora in numerose scuole. Viene invitato come maestro coreografo e giudice in molti concorsi nazionali e internazionali. Inoltre, per le sue qualità e capacità professionali, viene invitato come insegnante anche in numerosi stage in tutto il mondo.

Born in Bucharest on 03.05.1964, he studied ballet (Vaganova method) at the Choreographic School of Bucharest under the guidance of the masters Stefan Banica , Constantin Marinescu and Gheorghe Iancu. Maria Postelnicu nata a Bucarest(Romania) .Iniziò a studiare danza classica dall'età di otto anni all' Accademia "George Enescu",dove conseguì il diploma all'età di diciotto anni.Subito dopo fu assunta come ballerina all'Opera Nazionale di Bucarest,dove interpretò ruoli da ballerina solista e Prima ballerina nei balletti di repertorio più famosi al mondo(Il lago dei cigni,La Bayadere,Coppelia,Giselle,Don Quixote,Lo schiaccianoci,Carmen,Esmeralda,Romeo e Giulietta,La fille mal gardee ecc). Con questi balletti fece numerosi tournee in Germania,Giappone,Francia,Spagna,Lussemburgo,Olanda,Russia,Bulgaria,Italia ed Austria.Studiò con numerosi insegnanti di grande fama nazionali e internazionali come:Mihaela Craciunescu,Cristina Hamel,Amato Caciulescu,Lulu Ross,Raul Ercianu,M. Umrichin,Oleg Danovski e altri ancora.Molto famosa anche nel mondo televisivo e del cinema ballando nelle varie trasmissioni televisive e interpretando ruoli principali nei film dei grandi registi rumeni Stere Gulea e Sergiu Nicolaescu.I suoi film sono ancora oggi trasmessi alla televisione nazionale rumena.Insegnò danza classica,repertorio,danza di carattere e punte in Germania all' Istituto "Rhainland Phalz" e in Italia al "Centro Internazionale di danza" .Grazie alla sua grande esperienza artistica vinse numerosi premi insieme alle sue allieve ai vari concorsi nazionali e organizzò moltissimi tournee in Grecia,Inghilterra,Romania, Italia,Germania. Inoltre organizzò anche stage con il grande Primo Ballerino del Bolschoi(Russia)Irek Mukhamedov .Nel 2012 ottenne un riconoscimento da parte dell'Opera di Bucarest in occasione del novantesimo anniversario dalla fondazione dell'Opera e nel 2013 ottenne un riconoscimento dalla Provincia di Cosenza per le capacità,la determinazione,l'immensa disponibilità e soprattutto per l'umanità e l'alto contenuto morale che vive e riflette nella sua professione.Attualmente abita a Paola(CS) insegna non solo in quest'ultima, ma anche in tutta l'Italia, in Romania, Germania e Grecia. Organizza tournee in Grecia,Germania,Inghilterra,Romania e Italia,in occasione della Gala Internazionale di danza ideata da George e Maria Postelnicu. Per la sua professionalità ed eccellente formazione viene invitata a partecipare come giudice in numerosi concorsi nazionali e internazionali. In occasione di questi ultimi viene invitata, inoltre, a tenere numerose lezioni di danza classica e carattere. Durante gli svariati stage e concorsi seleziona ragazzi meritevoli assegnando borse di studio per la partecipazione al Dance Campus & Contest "San Francesco di Paola" che dirige dal 2016 insieme al marito George Postelnicu.

Maria Postelnicu born in Bucharest (Romania). She began studying classical dance from the age of eight at the "George Enescu" Academy, where she received her diploma at the age of eighteen. Immediately afterwards she was hired as a dancer at the National Opera Bucharest, where he played roles as a solo dancer and prima ballerina in the most famous repertoire ballets in the world (Swan Lake, La Bayadere, Coppelia, Giselle, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Esmeralda, Romeo and Juliet, La fille mal gardee etc.). She currently lives in Paola (CS) and teaches not only in the latter, but also throughout Italy, in Romania, Germany and Greece. Maria Postelnicu, constantly updated, currently works and teaches all the disciplines in the world of classical dance with passion and dedication, not only in Italy but also abroad, forming aspiring dancers and raising the quality and academic level of the teaching itself.
